Job Description:

Storehouse Bar & Grill - Server

Job Summary:

To serve food and beverage including alcohol responsibly with the spirit of hospitality to our patrons on a cash and carry basis, while observing and enforcing the liquor laws of the province.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect section upon arrival for debris and cleanliness of tables
  • Sign in on POS
  • Sign for Float from bartender
  • Check with Manager for any reservations or special assignments
  • Service sections according to assignments
  • Solicit sales from patrons and order at Service Bar
  • Post all Food orders on POs
  • Pay in full for each order and inturn; charge the customer—cash and Carry
  • Tabs are run only when we hold credit card and approved by manager
  • Offer menus and upsell wherever possible
  • Bus tables during slow periods
  • At 10 PM run Server Sales Analysis and make deposit for food sales, give to Manager
  • Inform Security and Manager of any patrons who have had their limit

Closing Duties: 

  • Clear all tables of cans and glasses
  • Wipe all tables clean with spray bottle
  • Wipe all chairs in your section
  • Pick up any large debris from rug in your section
  • Have manager inspect your section before you sign out
  • Put trays and other tools in cupboard and keep area tidy
  • Submit deposit to manager
  • Return float to Bartender
