Job Summary:

Serve guests coffee, tea, other drinks, and fresh prepared foods to customers of the Caribrew Cafe.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sign out keys, open cafe and prepare for service
  • Ensure all items are stocked and nicely displayed
  • Bring out Coffee Cart and stock all items
  • Ensure all tables, chairs and counters are wiped clean and litter is swept
  • Ensure there is sufficient change
  • Request stock from Central Storage or Kitchen as required
  • Record daily count of items taken from the kitchen 
  • Record all waste or spillage
  • Ensure all storage areas are kept tidy and clean
  • Ensure that guests seated in the cafe area are patrons and behaving in a respectable manner or otherwise alert security
  • If assistance is required, call the Food & Beverage manager or working supervisor
  • Ensure at days’ clean all areas
  • Put away perishables in appropriate areas
  • Cash out and deposits
  • Correctly fill out time sheets
  • Ensure all lights are turned off, coffee cart is put away, cage is securely locked and keys are returned to Front Desk
